KEATON HUDSON

photographer/ fine artist

I’ve always had a difficult time describing just what exactly it is that I do. As a kid, I drew. I drew everything and I drew all the time. In high school, those drawings turned into paintings. And then I needed reference shots for my paintings, so I bought a camera. It didn’t take long for all these artistic interests to snowball, and I soon found my toes in more pools than I knew what to do with.

I used to be concerned that I couldn’t strictly label myself as a “painter,” or a “photographer,” or “writer,” but that lack of a label doesn’t upset me in the way that it once did. Plain and simple, I enjoy making things. As I’ve grown older, the enjoyment of making things has manifested itself in a continually broadening spectrum. Right now, taking photographs and creating things out of wood has captured most of my interest, and time. For forty hours a week, I get paid to be a carpenter. And I love my job. When I’m not working, I’m trying to further myself as an artist through selling photographs and making picture frames.

Thanks for visiting my site. It really does mean a lot to me that you would take the time to peruse what I enjoy doing.

Let me know if I can be of service to you in any way. I would love to hear from you.
